Tales From ECCC: Scott Snyder And Gotham As Batman's Abusive Boyfriend

scottAt ECCC, a number of anonymous Little Bleeders talked to a number of professionals. And this is what we learned.

Scott Snyder has been perhaps the most sought after creator and is enjoying Batman and getting ready for Superman. "I love Grant's re-look that has given us back Superman the crusader. I'd love to use Ma and Pa Kent, so maybe flashback." He also commented when asked about writing two different Batman's (Dick Grayson from his Detective Comics run and Bruce Wayne from Batman) he finds they are both so different and the same. "Dick is emotional and Bruce is closed off."

I asked "So one quote I heard someone ask Gail Simone last week was 'Is Gotham City Batgirl's abusive boyfriend?' Do you think Gotham is like that it attacks those who love it?"

"Yes, Gotham will always attack Batman, always hurt those in it, but it is such a rewarding character and setting, who would ever leave there?"

Because Batman loves Gotham and can't leave.no matter what…?
