Will Giant-Size X-Statix #1 Revive the Team?! [Preview]

When Marvel first announced the return of X-Statix with Giant-Size X-Statix #1, the general assumption was that the story would be set in the past, similar to other Marvel 80th-anniversary one-shots. But a preview of Giant-Size X-Statix #1 shows this series is set in the present, with Edie Sawyer's sister watching a documentary about the team on Netflix.

We'll find out when Giant-Size X-Statix #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
