Goddesses of Thunder to the Rescue in King Thor #3 [Preview]
King Thor #3 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, the penultimate issue of Jason Aaron's lame-duck Thor epilogue while we all wait for The Bad Boy of Comics Donny Cates to begin the next chapter. By Aaron, Esad Ribic, Das Pastoras, Ive Svorcina, and Joe Sabino, King Thor #3 finds the titular King Thor in the kind of pickle only a hero in the third issue of a four-issue mini-series can find themself…
Gorr is back, and now he's the God of God Butchers. He was in the process of murdering Thor and Loki last issue…
…and he almost succeeded.
It looks like Gorr has managed to finish off Loki, but not Thor, though he's doing an admirable job of drowning him in necro-splooge or whatever is going on here.
But Thor isn't the only thunder god left in the universe.
And the Goddesses of Thunder have brought along a surprise not even Gorr was expecting.
King Thor #3 hits stores on Wedenesday.

THE RETURN OF THE GOD BUTCHER!
All-Father Thor believed the fight with his brother Loki – now empowered by the Necrosword and more bitter than ever – would be the bloodiest fight of his long life. But he's about to be proven wrong. Gorr the God Butcher has bided his time for millennia. Now, it is the end of all things. And the end of the last of the gods.
