Now the editorial practices of some areas at DC Comics get some stick from folk on the internet. Occasionally even from me. But when their own characters start talking out of class, something's up.

Take Cat Grant in yesterday's Superman.

Obviously I can empathise a little. But it got me thinking.

You don't suppose Scott Lobdell has had a story or three killed of late by editorial do you? Of course, it may not be the only place he's getting pressure from… take today's Teen Titans #27.
