Limerence Press to Print "Small Favors: The Definitive Girly Porno Collection" From Colleen Coover

Break out the magic wand, girls! Limerence Press, the sexually adventurous younger sister of Portland-based Oni Press, has just announced Small Favors: The Definitive Girly Porno Collection by Eisner Award winning creator and the female gender's answer to Frank Cho, Colleen Coover. The new print will collect both volumes 1 and 2 of Small Favors and the never-before-collected Color Special, along with behind-the-scenes material, and an introduction by Kelly Sue DeConnick.

Taught in college courses, as a seductive press release from Limerence points out, Small Favors is "a landmark work of comic book porno that completely re-defined the genre by portraying sexuality in a friendly, silly, and approachable light."

The press release also includes high praise from peers and critics:

"You should read Small Favors. It's cute and I think you would like it. Small Favors could not be cuter if it came wrapped in fluffy bunnies and ribbons made of giggle."
– KELLY SUE DECONNICK (Bitch Planet, Captain Marvel)

"I'm a sucker for Colleen Coover's art style: clean solid black-and-white art with monotone color shading. I want to seek out more of her work."
– CORY DOCTOROW, BOINGBOING

"Good erotica should make you want to reach under the covers when you read it, and warm yourself up to the level of the acrobatic characters on the page. Great erotica should leave you in a happy post-pornographic glow, filled with thoughts about how fun and loving sex can be. Colleen Coover's "girly porno comic" Small Favors is just that kind of great erotica…"
– LAUREN DAVIS, COMICS ALLIANCE

"The whole experience is delightfully cosy (not a word I use often when describing pornography). They are such fully rounded characters, you get the very real impression that they love each other, that their sexual antics are borne out of affection as well as lust…"
– PRISM COMICS

"Coover's infectiously delightful and cute storytelling makes for a fun comic book that just happens to involve a lot of sex. Coover's art style certainly helps matters—she never skimps on the eroticism of the sex, but it is just so darn POSITIVE. Pornography, as a genre, tends to be fairly angry—but not so with Small Favors—this is all about joy."
– COMIC BOOK RESOURCES

"Reading Small Favors stirred up the cold bowl of porridge in me nether regions, it did. You 'eard it 'ere first. Pip pip."
– RICH JOHNSTON, BLEEDING COOL

For anyone who doesn't feel like reading all those quotes, Bleeding Cool has obtained EXCLUSIVE footage of the pros and critics reading them, set to music:

The deluxe hardcover will hit stores in April 2017. Here's some safe-for-work but still dangerously arousing preview pages:

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
