Yesterday, Bleeding Cool broke news of a Scott Snyder showrun line at DC Comics, called Absolute Comics, as part of DC All-In.

Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
The marriage of Deadpool has seen lots of retailers upping their numbers, closely followed by Batman Eternal #1 (though making the first orders of that weekly book fully returnable if retailers order 150% of their Detective Comics #27 might have helped). And new covers for Amazing Spider-Man #1 and Kick Ass #7 have helped their numbers. But the Iron Man #1 relaunch may have benefited just from art previews – it doesn't have any retailer promotions to help push those issue one numbers.
It's also worth noting the increase in advance orders for Lumberjanes #1. Though I don' t think it's going to be nearly enough…
