Marvel Offers 13 Retailer Exclusive Variant Covers in July – House and Powers of X, Death's Head, Loki, Venom and More

Marvel Comics are making a larger that usual number of comics out in July available for retailer exclusive variant covers. But also – and I think this is new – Marvel Comics is inviting retailers to suggest any other titles that they may want exclusive covers for. Traditionally, Marvel Comics offer anything from 6 to 16 titles for such cover commissions in exchange for retailers ordering three thousand and more copies of a comic book. DC Comics only offers such an opportunity once a month or every two months that dozens of retailers plump for, which Marvel are lucky to get a dozen applications for any of their titles in total.

But now, these are being presented as serving suggestions, and comic book retailers are welcome to order off-menu if they wish. Want a retailer exclusive variant cover of Unbeatable Squirrel Girl? Get in touch… i know some people have been waiting decades for such a Death's Head opportunity.
