Phoenix Comicon opened yesterday. A casual, laid back Thursday ahead of the tumult to come… Saturday is especially rammed! Here's a look at the show before it opened, and then as the hordes entered…

Queues were long and heavy for Kieron Gillen and Canaan White for Avatar, Katie Cook was drawing a crowd, but for the most part, comic book pros were very approachable, and many began lining up their commissions for the weekend.

The briskest seller of the show that I could see though? Adventure Time and The Regular Show. Boom! seemed to pay for their show in the first half hour…
