President's Day Variant Covers?
Today is President's Day in the United States, a day created when we took two previous holidays celebrating the birth of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington and mushed them into one. There aren't many traditions for the holiday. Some people get it off while others have to work. Usually it's spent with people asking, "Is the bank open today?" or "Is there any mail delivery today?" The other big thing to celebrate the leaders of our country…. mattress stores have sales.
So I was a little surprised to see this today… Zenescope Entertainment, a company I have done a lot of writing for, has a daily special on their webpage where you can get exclusive variants and prints. Today offers up a lovely Valetine's variant by Franchesco, two Super Bowl themed prints by eBas (one for each team that played) and then finally this special 200 print variant of Grimm Tales of Terror Vol 2 #5 by Michael Dooney celebrating President's Day. That's now how George Washington looks on the dollar bill…
