All-New Invaders Tops Advance Reorders, But Avengers, Black Science And Origin II Are On The Rise
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand are most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, what new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
All-New Invaders tops retailer advance reorders, especially as those retailers who order 175% of their orders of Avengers #19 get a massive discount on the price. All New X-Men #22.NOW gets the same if retailers order 200% of their All New X-Men #16 numbers. But news about Avengers getting the classic cast time traveling to the present has seen reorders on that book rocket without any such incentive. And it appears that the first issue of Origin II has seen retailers rushing to up their orders on the second issue.
Another appearance on the list to note is Bad Ass #1, Dynamite's reprinting of a European title that has some rather impressive comic book artwork to boast about. And note how Bad Science is starting to grab some attention as well. Expect that to rise.
Also noteworthy is a lack of DC titles on the list at all…
