DC Comics Announces Star Spangled War Stories Starring GI Zombie

Star-Spangled_War_Stories_86At the Diamond Retailer Summit today, DC Comics announced a new upcoming series, reviving the old Star-Spangled War Stories comic.

Now by Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti and Scott Hampton, it will star GI Zombie, a war-to-war soldier over the decades now fighting modern day terrorists.

This is the third such war book the DC Comics have tried in the New 52. Third time lucky?
