DC Universe Continues to be Put on Hold as Doomsday Clock Delayed Further (UPDATE)
As it stands, no one else at DC Comics is allowed to use the Legion Of Superheroes, the Justice Society of America or Captain Marvel until Geoff Johns is finished with them in Doomsday Clock. Which also shows the near future of the DC Comics universe with the Supermen Thesis causing riots and Batman getting a slightly different costume.
As previously reported, no one else at DC Comics has a clue as to what Geoff Johns and Gary Frank will be doing in Doomsday Clock, let along how their own comics are meant to tie in with the DC President's plans for his comic.
But at least they now have a little longer to work it all out.
Because according to a message sent by DC Comics to comic book retailers Doomsday Clock #5 and #6 have been delayed a month each, slipping from May 23rd to June 20th and from July 18th to August 29th.
UPDATE: It has now been semi-reversed, Doomsday Clock #5 is now only a week delayed to May 30th. Doomsday Clock #6 will still be delayed until three months later, August 29th.
Which also puts lie to Geoff Johns 'guaranteed' bimonthly schedule for the book – there will be three months between Doomsday Clock #5 and #6.
It will still sell like bucketloads, obviously. Till then people like Scott Snyder will have to be content with using Black Adam…
