Finally, X-Men Outsold Aquaman Again
The affects of Avengers Vs X-Men seems to have done its trick on the market. After being blocked out of the top ten for months, last month Marvel managed to get Avengers Vs X-Men in there. And now some of the spinoff books of the crossover have joined the series in that much prized top ten of comic books selling in the North American direct market…
Which means, finally, Aquaman is being outsold by both Uncanny X-Men and Avengers. It's taken until April 2012.
However market share is relatively unaffected, with DC holding up their retail market share, and Marvel keeping their unit market share, both losing slightly on the other, Marvel still staying ahead on both.
As ever, for both Marvel and DC, it's a Red Queen's Race. Image Comics do seem to be going through an upswing though. Finally…
