New Trailer And Poster For 21 Jump Street – Jonah Hill And Channing Tatum Stay After Class
Another trailer has arrived on the scene for the new movie adaptation of 80s TV show 21 Jump Street, and it doesn't look too bad.
If you've seen Never Been Kissed, replace Drew Barrymore with hapless cops Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, who are sent undercover at a school due to their youthful looks and also because the police department think putting them in uniforms would ruin their image.
The laughs aren't really the kind that happen out loud, but 21 Jump Street looks to be a serviceable spring comedy (currently set for UK release on March 16th 2012), and fans of the original series will enjoy a cameo by Johnny Depp.
Directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, previously responsible for Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, are at the helm, and if you peer closely you'll see James Franco's younger brother Dave in a supporting role.
They've also released a poster with a rather risqué tagline.
Oh, you could say that it refers to explosions and that I just have a filthy mind, but I don't think it's possible to have a filthier mind than screenwriter Jonah Hill.
Not really much else to say about this really, except it strikes me that Channing Tatum's face always looks as if it's been photoshopped onto the rest of his body and not just when it has.
