Attorney Amir Ivtsan, a partner in the Ivtsan, Netzer, Wolecki & Co. law firm that has represented Marvel in Israel for the past decade, said any business in Israel suspected of selling illegal Marvel merchandise would be sued for NIS 100,000. He added that Marvel received information about Kippa Man specifically, which is why representatives visited his store.
Binyamin's famous store is about two meters wide and four meters long, and stuffed full with colorful kippot. He sells only kippot and does a brisk business, with a steady stream of customers.
Other kippa salesman on the pedestrian mall grudgingly acknowledge he sells the most kippot and is the best-known name internationally.

"It's stupid, maybe they're bored, or maybe they hate Jews," said B., one store owner who refused to give her name. Others wondered if the lawsuit was some kind of personal vendetta since only one shop was targeted.

Attendees of the 5th annual Fall Superheroes For Hospice Charity Comic Book Sale will have a unique opportunity to witness colorful, cartoony murals painted before their eyes. Special guest artist Mike Ciccotello will be on hand to paint two large canvases that will be donated to the charity for auction at a later date.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 22nd at the Monmouth Mall Food Court located at 180 Rt. 35 in Eatontown, N.J. Presented by Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center (BHHPCC), proceeds benefit patients and families served by the BHHPCC Inpatient Unit atMonmouth Medical Center. To date, Superheroes For Hospice Charity Comic Book Sales have raised more than $30,000 to assist individuals and families with life-limiting illnesses.

Alan Moore speaks in town literary fest – Arts – Northampton Chronicle and Echo
ALAN Moore is set to headline Northampton's first Lesbian & Gay Literary Festival, alongside over 20 other authors.
