San Diego Scalped Ticket Prices Crash To The Floor

Only a week ago, a pair of San Diego Comic Con tickets for four days without preview nights old on eBay for $1200, working out at $150 a day.

However in the past week, prices have crashed. While still considerably higher than originally sold for, a week's single pass, including preview night, recently sold for $350. And one day on Thursday went for $85, even though the seller had a Buy It Now price of $250.

This may well have much to do with San Diego Comic Con organisers letting returned tickets go for cover price, taking the wind out of the scalpers sale somewhat. But as the show goes on and the media start to run wall-to-wall coverage, they might hope to be able to sell later tickets and much higher prices again.
