Sunday Morning Runaround – Marvel Ambitions
The rain is pelting down. I've just made the kids lemon and sugar pancakes. And I'm thinking of writing a scriptural justification for the acception of, nay, promotion of homosecuality in the Christian church. Why, how are you spending your Sunday?
LocalWatch Shot In The Dark Comics astounds local media by published three comics in two years.
"We hope to one day rival Marvel — not overnight. It's going to be a long, long time down the road before we can do anything that great, but that's the plan," said Tipton.
In July 2010, the first issues of Raphael and Element will be available in all local comic shops within a two-hour radius of Chambersburg and eventually, nationwide. Each comic book will cost about $3.99.
Glad to see that they are rivalling Marvel's prices as well.

SportsWatch:College football team The Bulldogs had their student supports dress up in comic-book costumes to celebrate coach Mark Brown as the team reached the State championship game for the first time under their coach Mark Brown.
To honor Brown, the student section selected a superhero theme for the game.
"He's our hero for getting us to State," said three-year team manager Alyssa Hebert.
Several students dressed as characters from DC Comics including Batman, The Joker and Superman, with many, including the mascot and cheerleaders, donning capes. Several students wore shirts with JH placed inside the Superman crest. Following the theme, but with his own idea, was student Tyler Harp as his alter ego, Captain Underpants. Wearing sweat pants with a pair of white briefs over them, no shirt, a cape and furry cap, Harp cheered and danced with others as the game began.
American football cosplay supporters? They lost, naturally, 35-7.
