It's been a busy night of news in the world. Looking over the most-read posts from the day, the topics range from lightly entertaining to strange to pretty damn important. But it's always been that way for comics. Readers of 1941 saw the first issue of The Sub-Mariner, with Namor wading into the war, hanging at the newsstand right next to news magazines warning of the danger that Hitler posed to America. 70 years later, I watch my twitter stream scroll past with tweets about Doctor Who and Superman interspersed with the news of Osama's death. It's a strange and interesting world, every day, and so it was today:
