Have you seen this man in the Chicago area? Hanging around in a comic shop?

Kenneth Arron, The Man Who Founded Image Comics… Not

This is Kenneth W. Arron, notorious conman and user of many aliases. He's been in and out of jail for years posing as a variety of people from a marine, a laison to the White House, a TV producer, an events co-ordinator for Disney Comics, a theatre operator, and much more.

He's currently claiming to have founded Reed Expo's C2E2 comic convention in Chicago, to be involved with filming Superman in the Chicago area, and that he founded Image Comics.

Naturally none of this is true. He was seen at a recent twenty-four-hour comic event in Chicago claiming association with C2E2 and announcing plans for a Zombie Con, but the earlier claims concerning Superman and Image were made this week in a Chicago retail business.

Not sure who he was trying to impress, but he may be attempting to perfect his patter for a fraudulent assault upon the Chicago comic book scene.

No Rob Granito jokes, please.
