CrumbWatch: The Crumb documentary, of which the most fascinating aspect is still Robert's brother Charles Crumb, shortly before his suicide, gets the Criterion Collection treatment with new commentarry from director Zwigoff.

DigiWatch: Manga publisher DoCoMo and Dai Nippon Printing in Japan are working on a dedicated manga reading electronic device to compete with the Kindle and iPad, tied in with DoCoMo's existing product and distribution system, that will be open to all comers.

ReligionWatch: Russian geeks create a new religion worshiping Gadget Hackwrench from Rescue Rangers. Beats Scientology I suppose.

MovieWatch: Hugh Jackman returns for X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 (after all, he doesn't remember the events of the first movie at all now – which is a blessing many of us could envy), Zoe Kravitz plays Angel, Bill Milner plays Magneto, Morgan Lily for Mystique, and January Jones as Emma Frost. Is there a Facebook group demanding she wear the Hellfire Club costume yet? And The Wire director Seth Mann is to write and direct an adaptation of graphic novel Miss: Better Living Through Crime by Philippe Thirault, Marc Riou and Mark Vigouroux from Hunmanoids. Spike Lee producing.
