The #Resist Movement Comes To Valiant

Ever since U.S. President Donald Trump took office, many Americans have pushed back against this new regime with protests, marches and even a widely used #resist mantra coursing through the Twittersphere.

Well, in Valiant's Divinity III: Shadowman and the Battle of New Stalingrad #1 from writer Scott Bryan Wilson and artist Robert Gill, we see New Yorkers kick things up a notch against their new leaders—the Kremlin—in the Russian-ruled reality that's replaced the Valiant Universe.

And how does their resistance fare? Well, it's anything but peaceful…

…Russian missiles obliterating the Statue of Liberty…

…And lots and lots of rioting.

Is the Stalinverse starting to look a lot like…our universe? One thing's for certain, you're not going to find anything else on the shelf that feels this eerily similar to our world.
