Something Called Voltron To Be Published As A Comic By Dynamite In December

I have no idea who or what Voltron is. We never got it in Britain, the toys or the cartoons, I know there's something about a robot lion involved but that is the limit of my knowledge.

Anyway, Dynamite are making a comic book of it in December, written by Brandon Thomas, drawn by Ariel Padilla with covers from Alex Ross, Sean Chen and Wagner Reis.

Apparently there's a live action movie and another cartoon in the works, but… sorry. It's like trying to get an American excited by Bagpuss.

Hmm. A Bagpuss comic. Do that, Dynamite, and we'll talk!

Here are the covers to the first issue. One of them seems to have the cast of Battle Of The Planets on. Them, I do know.
