What Happens When An SUV Drives Into The Back Of A Comic Shop?

Black Cat Comics of Salt Lake City had an unwelcome visitor this weekend in the form of an SUV hitting their comic shop. The vehicle smashed into their back wall on Sunday afternoon during business hours.

This is how it looked inside:

As a result, the comic shop's premises were legally condemned and they were unable to operate out of them. However, all was not lost, as the nearby location recently evacuated by Radio Shack was reopened for the store to operate out of.

Here's how they announced the news:

WE ARE LEGALLY CLOSED TODAY IN THIS SPACE. WE WILL BE IN RADIO SHACK'S LOCATION TOMORROW (other side of GameStop hahahaha). We will keep you updated.
A young woman ran her car into the side of our store. Everyone is okay. Our store is legally condemned right now because of that. Will be moving over today/tonight. Thanks for understanding!#

Before updating to say:

Update!! We're set up in radio shack's location, so come on in anytime! Everything will be a little different, but no matter where we are, we're still the same Black Cat Comics.

Though they do have some good news as well:

Despite all the weird hardships our little store has been through, there is one constant: we have the best customers in the world. We appreciate everything you do for us. After 13 years (and two moves in the complex in the past few months), you've stuck with us. We promise to always be there for YOU, too, in whatever ways we can. Thank you, thank you, thank you all. Thanks for coming to us for comics, to hang out, and to help.

So there you go! Black Cat Comics is officially the Best Comic Shop In Utah, apparently. Even when it's next door in Radio Shack.
