Two New Identities For Josh Hoopes As He Attempts To Scam DeviantArt Members

da2

Joshua De Lava, going by the name of DeLava420 on DeviantArt has been soliciting for comic book creators to work on an unnamed comics project.

Except it's actually comic book industry conman Josh Hoopes again, with a new identity and a similar modus operandi.

One creator has already been scammed for $350 and is trying to get the payment back. Others have contacted him but are waiting for a response.

He also used the identity John Anders to put up images to show his skills on DeviantArt when soliciting work, but those whose images he stole soon cottoned on and started berating him.

Those images came down on DeviantArt, but soon went up again on PhotoBucket.

For those who need a refresher, the life and times of conman Josh Hoopes…
