Don't Panic, Wolverine's Daughter Fans, Rien is Still His Daughter – Marvel Comics Presents #7

Tomorrow sees the publication of Marvel Comics Presents #7 featuring Charles Soule's and Paulo Siqueira's story, The Vigil. In which Wolverine fights a demonic threat decade after decade, alongside a witches family, including now a daughter that he sired in the eighties. with a woman he first knew as young child during the war. Yeah, don't dwell. Her name is Rien and she has been narrating the story since the first issue which, as she pointed out, was before she was born.

As a result, her first appearance in Marvel Comics Presents, the daughter of Wolverine, even though this story has to be out of Marvel continuity as it's a kind of Wolverine: Life Story thing, caused back issues to rocket and for the comic to go through three printings. A quick check on eBay shows that the first print has been selling for up to $190 in CGC 9.6, and $65 raw while the 1:25 2nd printing cover sold a week ago in advance for $200 raw.

But it's possible the gild may have been coming off the lily in the last day or so, as the following panel from tomorrow's Marvel Comics Presents #7 has been leaked around the place.

And certain collectors are wondering if they've been sold a pup. Don't worry collectors, Bleeding Cool can confirm that Rien is indeed Wolverine's daughters, even if she doesn't want to be defined in that way. But on the other hand, I can definitely confirm that this is not happening in Marvel Universe continuity. So, there's that… your call.
