The 'Destiny 2' Beta Date Will Be Announced At E3
In a press release sent out earlier today (which according to some sources has been edited since release), Activision gave the word that you'll be seeing the beta testing date announced for Destiny 2 at E3 2017. Both them and Bungie have been keeping a lot of the finer details of the game close to the chest as they've only been releasing what they want you to know about and keeping the rest under wraps until the appropriate time. It appears that time will be in a matter of days.
The rumor mill on several sites and Reddit is that the date will be set for July 7, as that date is "Bungie Day" and it's highly possible they'll celebrate in style with the beta. However, keep in mind that the company is also bringing Call Of Duty: WWII and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy to the convention as well, so assuming that Destiny 2 is going to be the end-all-be-all for whatever they have on their plate is a little presumptuous at this time.
If it does come out on July 7. that's going to be awesome for hopeful fans to try it out before we see the game on September 8. Personally, I think Bungie and Activision should release the beta immediately after E3 and carry a buzz coming out of the convention, but that's more wishful thinking at this point.
