Bobbi And Hunter May Be Our S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Agents
Deadline is citing insider information that the rumored spin-off series to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is homing in on actors Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as "headliners". That would bring us a series driven by the missions and adventures of Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter, and no doubt their trademark on again, off again romance fueling banter and conflict.
But things sound like they are in a very early phase, as even Deadline seems to suggest, since the potential show won't be greenlit or shelved until the script for the pilot/first episode comes in. And it hasn't yet. We'll wait and see. It would be a smart move to focus on characters audiences will already be familiar with and the duo definitely have some charisma. Maybe enough for their own show, but I'm still on the fence on this one.
