Broken Hearts Gallery Synopsis and Poster

"What if you saved a souvenir from every relationship you've ever been in? THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY follows the always unique Lucy (Geraldine Viswanathan), a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City, who also happens to be an emotional hoarder. After she gets dumped by her latest boyfriend, Lucy is inspired to create The Broken Heart Gallery, a pop-up space for the items love has left behind. Word of the gallery spreads, encouraging a movement and a fresh start for all the romantics out there, including Lucy herself."

The Broken Hearts Gallery

Pretty wild to see Dacre Montgomery not as an alcoholic teenage bully in the 1980's like he plays in Stranger Things, but I can get by that. This looks enjoyable, it is nice to see them cast actual younger people as young people for a change, which lends to the authenticity the trailer has. Broken Hearts Gallery also has the advantage of being the only really fresh film in theaters for a couple weeks when in opens, so this could be a bit of a breakout. Ditto for the to leads of the film, Viswanathan and Montgomery. Both are on the cusp, and maybe this is what outs them over the top. Look for the film to be releases in theaters on July 17th.
