FX Renews The Strain For Season Three

the-strain-logo1The Strain television series is a horror / thriller from Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse and is an adaptation of the best-selling The Strain Trilogy by del Toro and Chuck Hogan. The series is four episodes into its second season and FX has announced it has been renewed for a third.

The series stars Corey Stoll, who also played Darren Cross / Yellowjacket in Ant-Man, as Dr. Ephraim Goodweather. He and his unlikely allies are forced to try and stop an evil epidemic that's ravaging New York City. The series also features Mia Maestro and David Bradley.
