James Gunn Might Be Up For Directing A Pilot For A Netflix Marvel Show
The Netflix Marvel part of the MCU is a big deal, obviously. As we will be jumping into The Defenders before too long, we are really beginning to see it all take shape.
It seems that Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn might be up for getting involved in the MCU pocket too. Speaking during a Facebook Live Q&A (via ScreenRant), Gunn said that it is possible he'd direct an episode, but only under one condition. He said:
If it was in the right circumstances, maybe, but it would never be one that was preexisting. It would have to be the pilot of a new show.
That could be fun to see happen, but there really aren't too many more properties that Netflix could bring into Hell's Kitchen, at least for anything that is immediately obvious. I won't hold my breath for this, but it would be fun to see Gunn's energy on the smaller side of MCU.
