SAW has seen its fair share of home entertainment releases in every format, but a new one might take the cake. This will include all ten films in the saga (so far), including SAW 1-7, Jigsaw, Spiral, and last year's SAW X. While there is no features list as of right now, they will surely include a bunch. Bring All Of SAW Home At Once. Until SAW 11…
All 10 films from the franchise that created a new horror subgenre – including the latest chapter, SAW X – are collected here in one terrifying set. Rewind to the beginning when Jigsaw first springs his diabolically ingenious traps on the morally wayward, then travels his long road of pain all the way to Mexico in the newest entry's untold story of John Kramer's quest for a cancer cure, inspiring his most personal game yet.
Here is my only problem with box sets like these. There is another SAW film coming. This year, in fact. There will probably be another one after that, as well. I'm not saying Lionsgate shouldn't be putting this out; it looks like it will be an awesome set. But as fans, how do we decide when to buy? Do we cut it off here and say that SAW X was my stopping point and pick this up? Do we wait until the franchise is dead? How many people will avoid this because they don't want to spend time thinking about these things? I am all for physical media releases, but for ongoing franchises, it makes more sense to me to wait until it is complete. Not to say that if you do buy this, you are wrong, but I would have questions for you.
