New Assassin's Creed TV Spot Finally Gets The Tone Right
I have faith in the Assassin's Creed movie. It think the franchise's concept is strong, and the talent involved is more than enough to utilise that. However, what I have had less confidence in thus far is the trailers thus far, which I think have made strange choices in the music and tone departments that don't quite match the images their displaying. While unconventional choices can be inspired in adverts, it just hasn't quite gelled with Assassin's Creed
This new TV spot is more like it though. It features a few new clips, and seems to be in-line with what Justin Kurzel has shot. No fancy cuts, or music choices, just a nice, bog standard little TV spot about a semi-serious action sci-fi. Just what we needed.
