Paddington 2 Trailer – They're All Back, Bonneville, Capaldi, Hawkins, Walters, Broadbent, Whishaw – As Well As Hugh Grant And Brendan Gleeson
I can honestly say that Paddington was one of my favourite film of 2014. I brought up on the books and stop-frame animation, and was expecting so little in comparison, I was cynical about the need to expand on the origin of the refugee bear in London, and I couldn't see how it cpuld suit a feature film.
How wrong I was. At the time I called it Love Actually meets Brazil and I think I still hold with that.
And now we are getting a second chapter.
Paddington, now happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen.
Well, we in the UK are, in November. The Americans have to wait until January, if they are lucky enough to live close to a cinema that shows this sort of thing.
But they should.
