Bleeding Cool welcomes back The Castle of Horror Podcast tonight, a weekly internet radio show where professional writers in the comics, games and book industries take a look at horror movies, choosing one movie a week to discuss in depth.

They say:

This week we kick off a Christopher Lee retrospective, showcasing films from the dearly departed actor. We're gonna be looking at some classics and some hidden gems.

This week it's Count Dracula, the 1970 film that Lee considered closest to the book, and that allowed him to inhabit the role of Dracula better than ever.

If you haven't seen it, Count Dracula is not a Hammer film– it's a Spanish/French production shot on gorgeous practical sets, and with one of the finest scores in horror from composer Bruno Nicolai.

Dracula himself looks different too– a regal aristocrat in a heavy cloak. On the other hand, there are major issues, and we'll hit them.

Next week: more Chris Lee!

The score is by Bruno Nicolai, and if you want to experience an afternoon feeling like you live in a Eurotrash movie, just make a Pandora station called "Bruno Nicolai."
