Trailer For Susan Sarandon Lead Thriller, The Calling

When putting together a serial killer thriller, I don't think Susan Sarandon and Topher Grace would be the first two names on my list. But then again neither would Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey and that worked out well. And the trailer for The Calling looks appropriately creepy and suspenseful. Throw in Donald Sutherland as a priest and you may just have something.

The Calling is about a small town sheriff (Sarandon) investigating a religious motivated serial killer who poses the faces of his victims to get his message across. It was directed by Jason Stone and adapted by Scott Abramovitch from Inger Ash Wolfe's novel. Its scheduled to hit theaters October 10th.
