The Women's Money in the Bank Roster Is Set – Who Will Win?
As of last night, Sasha Banks is the last superstar to enter the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The lineup is pretty solid for this year, and frankly I don't know who I want to win.
I love Becky Lynch and Ember Moon a great deal, but everyone here is a talented superstar in their own right. Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Naomi, and yes, even Lana could very well walk away with the Money in the Bank contract. I'm a little upset Bayley isn't in the match — I feel she is being regarded to a mid-card talent.
But that's neither here nor there.
I'm sure we all remember last year's match. Carmella won — but only because Ellsworth climbed the ladder himself and dropped the case to her. Now, with Lana coming out to the ring with Aiden English at her side, there's a very real chance we could see that happen again. Or at the very least, English could potentially interfere.
I'm almost convinced WWE creative is thinking the same exact thing. And if they do pull this crap again, they're erasing all of the progress they have made for their female superstars since last year. I would like to think WWE would be above that, but I've also been watching WWE since the very early '90s (so I know better). Here's hoping they have a legitimate, decent match and don't follow the same steps from last year. Otherwise, this Women's Ladder Match is pointless.
