It's not uncommon for filmmakers to be asked about previous work (and upcoming projects) when doing press junkets for current releases, as made apparent by some questions Ron Howard was asked during the Solo: A Star Wars Story media day.

Now what does that have to do with Buffy the Vampire Slayer? The question of reviving the series was brought up to Fox Chairman and CEO Gary Newman at the INTV Conference in Jerusalem, and Newman wants "Scoobies" to know that the idea isn't a new one for the network.
Kudos to them for making a wave without a store exclusive for a change — fans should appreciate not having to go all over the place to get them all.
