AMC Cancels Comic Book Men After 7 Seasons

Last night across his social media accounts, Kevin Smith revealed that AMC had opted to cancel his series Comic Book Men after seven seasons and 96 episodes.

AMC Cancels Comic Book Men After 7 Seasons

His post was short, not naming specific reasons but urging fans to listen to the You Tell Em Steve Dave podcast for a "Viking funeral" for the show:

The podcast is long, and if you are a fan of Comic Book Men, you should definitely listen to it.

There is no official word on why the series is canceled — it could be anything from ratings to a shift to focus more on AMC's drama lineup.
