Last year Arrow star Stephen Amell made a visit to the Vancouver Pride Parade and posted a few photos from the event. He received some negative response to his posts and he responded to it on social media, calling out the negativity and stating: "If I'm in Vancouver next year I won't just go back, I'll walk in the parade. So for everyone in their negative pants: Go be on the wrong side of history on somebody else's Facebook page."
In tweets this weekend, the actor talks about his summer travels, difficulties he's been having with his credit cards because of being overseas and his plans for the summer, which he very much plans to keep his word from last year, noting that June is Pride Month and he was a day late in posting about it.
A belated Happy Pride Month 🌈 to everybody. Excited to hit the Vancouver Parade this summer and get rid of a few thousand followers who are on the wrong side of history.

And I said "belated" because I'm on a trip around the world and I JUST found out it's the month of June. Should have posted this tweet yesterday. 🤷♂️

Hoping to have a float. If I don't have a float, I'm excepting invitations to be on a float. Green Arrow pants and all. Top = optional.

Accepting invitations.
Shit.

If you have a float in the Vancouver Pride Parade this years, which should be the 40th annual… Stephen Amell is looking for a place to stand and he's willing to go shirtless and wearing the green leather pants. Seems like that might win a judge's award or something.
