Supergirl Season 3: Inside the Episode 'Of Two Minds'
The CW has released a new video going behind-the-scenes of tonight's new episode of Supergirl. Executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner take us inside 'Of Two Minds'. Spoilers for the episode in the video and spoken of below…
There is a plague that hits National City, we saw part of it with the dead birds at the end of last episode. Now we see it's starting to effect the people of the city, but no one knows who Pestilence is yet. But there is a cure that is mixed into the Legion's DNA that can be weaponized and used to kill Pestilence long before she becomes Blight. The problem is that Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) doesn't kill, which puts her and Imra Ardeen (Amy Jackson) on opposite sides of the problem. You can almost hear, "the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or the one." Now so far we've seen Supergirl be able to reach out to Julie Freeman (Kris Marshall) even when she was Purity, so she believes that she can reach whoever is Pestilence, but Queller tells us it's going to be far more difficult than that.
Supergirl airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
