Unfinished Beef: Joey Chestnut Beats Takeru Kobayashi, Personal Record

During Netflix's Unfinished Beef, Joey Chestnut beat Takeru Kobayashi and his personal record. Here are the full results & video highlights...

Today was the day that 16-time hot dog-eating champion Joey Chestnut and six-time hot dog-eating champion Takeru Kobayashi got a chance to settle their "Unfinished Beef" on Netflix after 15 years. So, who did WWE superstars Rey Mysterio and Omos award the WWE-designed championship belt, a special trophy, and some serious cash after the final dog was eaten during Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef? That honor would go to Chestnut, who bested Kobayashi by 17 dogs – with a final score of 83-66.

Actor and comedian Rob Riggle and TV personality and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia served as hosts, with Cari Champion and Chris Rose also on board to call the event, which kicked things off with two distinctly different opening matches. To kick things off, competitive eater Matt Stonie took on Olympians Ryan Murphy, Max Irving, and Ryan Lochte in a one-on-three chicken wing-eating showdown. Despite the numbers being against Stonie, the competitive eater would walk away with an easy win after the three-minute run – 53 wings to the Olympians' combined 36 wings.

Following that, we had a Guinness World Record-worthy effort from Leah Shutkever  – who needed to consume 1750 grams (or 4 pounds) of watermelon in three minutes to make it into the record book of all record books. With 30 seconds left on the clock, Shutkever would blow past what they needed, downing 2400 grams of watermelon. Here's a look at a rundown of highlights from today's event:
