Bayonetta Developer Is Making A Transformers Game

Platinum Games can really be a special developer. The team are behind Bayonetta and Vanquish, which are distinguished by their hyper active action. They have a fiercely loyal audience, and just the mention of their name usually gets some parts of the internet revving their engines.

Well, their next game should be very interesting. The developer is taking on a cellshaded Transformer game called Transformers: Devastation that is looking very cool. Peter Cullen will reprise Optimus Prime as well as older cartoon alumni like Dan Gilvezan (Bubblebee) and Frank Welker (Megatron and Soundwave). It leaked last night, but Platinum have now confirmed that the game is real.

This could be really cool little game. Bare in mind though, the developer also took on a Legend of Korra game last year, which was throughly underwhelming. Lets hope it is more on the Bayonetta side of things.
