Diamond Creates New Awards For Comic StoresDiamond Comic Distributors is launching a new award, for comic book stores, to be presented at the Diamond Retailer Summit before C2E2.

The Best Practices Awards will be given to the stores who win the following;

Best Window Display
Best Counter Display
Best New Comics Section
Best Graphic Novels Section
Best Kids Section
Best Toys Section
Best Movie or Themed Boutique
Best Out of the Box Game Display
Best T-Shirt Display
Most Improved Retail Display

Retailers who wish to enter need to send in photographs along with a written statement, and retailers will vote on successful nominations at the Summit itself. Winners will receive an engraved plaque.

I do hope Page 45 enter for window display…
