Here are five pages from Before Watchmen: Comedian, published tomorrow, by Brian Azzarello and JG Jones from DC Comics, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

It is suggested in the original comic book, and more explicitly expressed in the movie, that The Comedian shot JFK. Here we see an earlier, happier time, with The Comedian as a good friend of the Kennedys.

And it seems, long before that fateful day in 1963, he was also responsible, on Jacky's behest, for murdering Marilyn Monroe…
