Illyana Is A Bit Of A Bad Ass Phoenix

Yes I know she'd been a demon sorceress. And I know she's been ruler of Limbo. And yes, the other week, she dropped Ms Marvel into a version of Limbo in a volcano, to keep her in hellish torment for an undisclosed period of time.

But even so, she'd still a bit of a bad ass this week in Uncanny X-Men and Avengers Vs X-Men.

First things first, those of you hoping for a continuation of the last issue of AVX's uptick in quality, be prepared for disappointment, we're back down to issue 5 levels. Still, at least we have Illyana giving us these kind of moments.

That's rather definitive…

Talking about Scarlet Witch there. And in Uncanny X-Men, passing sentence on Mister Sinister…

She is a feisty Russian little sister, isn't she? But there was something else that nagged me about reading AVX and I can't believe I didn't see it before… five X-Men together… Always five, acting as one…

Da da da daa da da daa daa daaa… not to mention they had their own deal going on with a Phoenix.

Mark is Cyclops, Jason is Namor, Emma Frost is Princess,  Tiny is Colossus and Illyana is… Keyop?

Told you she was a bad ass.
