Wil Moss – From Broadway To Fiftieth Street
Yesterday, Bleeding Cool ran the rumour that DC Comics editor Wil Moss was flying the coop to work for Marvel Comics. And that, after telling DC the news and handing in his notice found, as is policy, that his last day at DC… was that day. So he's now starting at Marvel tomorrow.
Since it ran, the story has been repeatedly confirmed by a number of professionals. So asked a couple who had recently worked with Morris for their thoughts.
Nick Spencer tells me, not wanting to confirm anything that's not his to confirm:
Wil is, without a doubt, one of the best editors I've ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. I'm really proud of the work we did together– on JIMMY OLSEN, on THUNDER AGENTS, on SUPERGIRL however temporarily– and on each project, he went above and beyond the call of duty to make the books as good as they could possibly be. I would certainly, and enthusiastically, welcome any opportunity to work with him again.
Ales Kot, who had an in-again-out-again affair on Suicide Squad sent me this, from House Of Cards:

And on Twitter, James Robinson (who worked with Morris recently on Shade) tweeted:
Just saw that @Wil_Moss may be making the move to @Marvel. If that's true then congrats to Wil and Marvel too. He's a fantastic editor–

All three are no longer working for DC, but for Marvel. And I'm sure there was plenty of gossip on Friday night for James Tynion's birthday…
