A Mysterious Stranger In Wolverine And The X-Men #2 Who Is In No Way Like Cable. Honest.

Do you remember the Liefeld days of X-characters? When each new comic would bring a new mysterious stranger who seemed to know everyone's story (especially Wolverine) with some cool but nondescript codename and too many kneepads and pouches, and some strange knowledge of fate and the future as well as the past? And who twenty years later are the basis of all known cosplay?

Well, today's Wolverine And The X-Men #2 by Jason Latour and Mahmud Asrar totally brings that back. With this fellow.

I mean his entire body is made out of patches. And is that a cyborg arm?

Can we start calling the Cable knock-off Jerk Face now?

Because he doesn't seem to have a name for himself now. Say, he couldn't be the school's new headmaster could he? Like this title of this USA Today article by Brian Truitt suggested but never followed through in the actual piece?
