Goodbye, OM

I've known him, on and off, for over twenty years posting on-line. Known to most as OM, to a very select few as Bob Mosley, he made a few friends and plenty of enemies with his abrasive, insulting and relentless attitude. A familiar face on Bleeding Cool message boards, I only had to ban him a few times and in recent years, reached more of an understanding and appreciation. As long as he didn't post about Gail Simone or Tom Galloway.

But whatever your feelings about the man and the pseudonym, maybe it's time for a little respect for a man who gave so much time to what he loved the most.

His real name is Bob Mosley, and these are his final moments. Currently in North Austin Medical Center with his family after declining surgery, it is believed he will be taken off life support in a few hours.

We battled, we fought, we argued, we screamed. But now there is silence.

Godspeed, OM.

UPDATE: Bob passed away earlier today, surrounded by his family.
