Humanity Falls In Of Gods And Men
Mtt Osbourne writes
Mount Olympus appears above New York City, Gods rain from the sky, and mankind is left under the rule of Zeus and the Greek Gods in a new ongoing series on Kickstarter here.
The idea came from a "Greek Gods in the present day" themed anthology called Gods in Our Midst that my twin brother, Josh Osborne, and I co-wrote. In working on the initial outline I became fascinated with how people would react to Gods walking the Earth, particularly when it's not the God they believe in, and I found myself entrenched in a world that had limitless potential.
I personally enjoy science fiction stories that stay grounded, like Ronald Moore's Battlestar Galactica and Game of Thrones, for instance, and that is the tone I'm aiming for with "Of Gods and Men". Something dark, something dramatic, and something epic.
The main protagonist, Ethan, his family, and the small community they live in, deal with the aftermath of starting a fight against a God and the domino effect it has on them, as well as all of humanity, going forward.
Of Gods and Men is a 28-page fully colored comic, written and created by Matt Osborne, with 22 new pages of story illustrated by Leandro Panganiban, colored by iANAR, lettered by ET Dollman with covers by Marcelo Salaza and Leandro Panganiban.
