2016 Strikes Again: Actor, Comedian Ricky Harris Dead At 54

As 2016 comes to a close, the already devastating year has claimed yet another victim: actor and comedian Ricky Harris. Harris most notably played roles in the sitcoms Moesha and Everybody Hates Chris, in the movies Heat, Poetic Justice, and Dope, and also voiced several characters in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as well as in skits on albums by Snoop Dogg. He was married for a time to rapper and TV personality Dee Barnes. Harris was remembered on Twitter by Snoop, Ice Cube, Warren G, Chuck D, Cedric the Entertainer, Sinbad, and other actors, comedians, and musicians. He was 54 years old.

In the past week alone, we've lost George Michael and, today, Carrie Fisher. We've spoken with the rest of the human race, and we've all agreed to just skip the last week of the year and let it be 2017 already.
